General Terms and Conditions (GTC)

1. Scope

These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all contracts between

Dr. Yvonne Ingler-Detken, Online Psychological Counseling, dr.inglerdetken@gmail.com

and the client regarding psychological counseling and coaching in individual sessions via video call or telephone.

2. Description of services

I offer psychological counseling and coaching on personal, professional, and interpersonal issues. Counseling is conducted exclusively online via a secure platform, to which you will receive a link when you book your appointment.

Important NOTE:

This consultation is not a substitute for psychotherapeutic, psychiatric, or medical treatment. No diagnoses are made, no promises of healing are made, and no medical practice is performed within the meaning of the Heilpraktikergesetz (Heilpraktiker Act).

3. Conclusion of contract

A contract is concluded when an appointment is agreed upon and confirmed by me in writing via email. By booking, the client agrees to these terms and conditions.

4. Fees & Payment Terms

The fee is based on the current price list on my website or is agreed upon individually. Payment is made in advance or upon invoicing.

The fee must be transferred no later than 48 hours after the agreed appointment, unless otherwise agreed.

5. Appointment cancellations / cancellation fees

Appointments can be canceled free of charge up to 48 hours before the start of the appointment.

In the event of cancellations or no-shows at short notice, the full fee will be charged unless there is a verifiable emergency.

6. Disclaimer

I assume no liability for any health, psychological or other consequences related to the consultation.

Participation in the consultation is at your own risk. No liability is assumed for technical problems (e.g., connection issues).

7. Confidentiality

I undertake to maintain absolute confidentiality regarding all information received during the consultation. Disclosure to third parties will only occur with express written consent or due to legal obligations.

8. Data protection

Personal data is processed in accordance with the separate privacy policy on this website.

All personal data will be treated confidentially and will not be passed on to third parties.

9. Right of withdrawal

As a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of conclusion of the contract without giving any reason, unless the appointment has already taken place within this period or you have expressly waived your right of withdrawal (Section 356 (4) of the German Civil Code).

10. Place of jurisdiction & applicable law

The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies. The place of jurisdiction is the provider's place of residence.

11. Final provisions

Should individual provisions of these General Terms and Conditions be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.

Changes or additions must be made in writing.

As of May 2025
